If Obama Wins, What Next?
With an Obama second term looking like a better than even probability, short of sweeping both chambers of Congress, can the newly reelected president break the stalemate in Washington and govern successfully? He says the partisan fever will break once he cannot run again. He may be right, but President Obama will have to move quickly after the election to send the right signals of strength and resolve, and position himself to take advantage of the recriminations among Republicans that inevitably will surface in the wake of a Romney defeat. If the GOP loses House seats and falls short of the...

Russian city cancels 'Jesus Christ Superstar' over complaints
FULL-TIME: Bristol City 2, Leeds United 3
Controversial striker El Hadji Diouf netted twice as Leeds won a pulsating npower Championship encounter at Ashton Gate.
Signed by Whites boss Neil Warnock in the summer, the 31-year-old Senegalese forward opened the scoring in the 62nd minute.
Albert Adomah pulled City level with a spectacular header, but Hadji Diouf put Leeds back in front nine minutes from time.
Michael Tonge netted a third from ther edge of the penalty and Sam Byram's own goal came too late to rescue City.
In buoyant mood after dumping Everton out of the Capital One Cup in midweek, Leeds started the brighter of the two sides and threatened an early goal, Aidan White jinking his way past centre-backs James Wilson and Liam Fontaine and letting fly with a shot that flashed beyond the far post.
In equally confident mood after scoring 11 goals in three previous games at Ashton Gate, City demonstrated their new-found attacking prowess when Albert Adomah sent over a cross from the right flank and Ryan Taylor arrived a split-second too late to head in.
Their partnership restored, Robins strikers Jon Stead and Taylor then combined to open up the visitors, the latter testing fit-again Whites keeper Paddy Kenny with a stinging drive that he gathered at the second attempt.
Debutant George Elokobi was to the fore in City's next attack, the on-loan defender hooking his shot across the face of goal after Leeds failed to clear an Adomah free kick.
If Leeds had plenty of possession without particularly going anywhere, City were prepared to shoot on sight and Paddy had to be alert to hold Stead's drive from the edge of the penalty area.
Defences continued to hold sway and Robins keeper Tom Heaton proved equal to a shot on the turn from El Hadji Diouf.
Making his first start of the season, Neil Kilkenny was a real driving force for City in the middle of the park and his pass invited Richard Foster to whip in a cross from the right. Martyn Woolford stole a march on his marker, only for his flicked header to drift wide of the target.
Elokobi was just 40 minutes into his debut when his involvement was unfortunately cut short by injury. He collapsed while attempting to block a cross and was stretchered off to be replaced by teenage left-back Joe Bryan.
Leeds emerged for the second half all fired up and almost went ahead when an unmarked Rodolph Austin met Hadji Diouf's out-swinging free kick with a header that came back off the cross bar.
When City again left the midfielder unmarked from another free kick, Heaton was called upon to make a fine diving save to divert his powerful downward header.
City awoke from their slumbers and Kilkenny threaded a pass through a crowded penalty area to create an opportunity for Stead, whose shot was brilliantly blocked by Tom Lees.
City's defence suffered further unwanted disruption on 57 minutes when Bryan, who had only been on the field a short while, went to ground following a clash of heads with Austin.
Clearly dazed, he was unable to continue and was replaced by veteran defender Louis Carey, who slotted in at right-back with Foster switching to the other side of the back four.
City were still reorganising when Hadji-Diouf opened the scoring, ghosting in to turn in Sam Byram's low centre from close range.
But the lead lasted only eight minutes, Foster sending over a deep cross from an advanced position on the left for Adomah to score with a spectacular diving header from 10 yards out.
Hadji Diouf restored Leeds' advantage 11 minutes later, seizing upon a mistake by City skipper Liam Fontaine and sliding the ball past Heaton from close range.
City pushed hard for a second equaliser and were punished when Tonge lashed in a third goal from the edge of the penalty area.
Byram turned Adomah's corner into his own goal in time added on to set-up a thrilling finale, but it was too little too late for the Robins.
City (4-4-2): Heaton; Foster, J Wilson, Fontaine, Elokobi (Bryan 42, Carey 57); Adomah, Kilkenny, Pearson, Woolford; Taylor, Stead (Baldock 62).
Leeds (3-5-2): Kenny; Peltier, Lees, Pearce; Byram, Brown, Austin, Tonge, White; Diouf, Becchio (Gray 89).
Referee: Stuart Attwell (Worcestershire)

First look at Detour 2012: 'Going for the jugular'
by Zoe Li
The Wanchai Police Station will be the main site of Detour 2012. Still partly in use by the police force, Detour will get the ground and first floors.
Detour, the annual festival in Hong Kong that celebrates art and design, will try to change the way we perceive and engage with public space, particularly in Wanchai. And they're not going to be subtle about it.
"[We will] make the busiest passersby stop in their tracks and remember where they are," says James Reeves, one of the international artists confirmed for the festival, to be held November 30-December 16.
"People are just walking around with their [smartphone] screens -- so how do you disrupt that?"
The artist, who arrived in Hong Kong on Monday, is working with his partners at New Orleans creative studio Civic Center, as well as Detour's guest curator John Bela and creative director Aidan Li to make a public art project at Detour's main site -- the semi-occupied, 80-year-old Wanchai Police Station.

iOS 6 includes 10 major and, according to Apple, 200 new user features overall. It may not be as audacious as iPhone OS 2 was with the App Store, or iOS 5 was with iCloud, and Maps may cause some pain for some users for some time, but it does set the foundation for Apple's platform going forward.
To find out much, much more, head on over to our iOS 6 review.

Ken Shamrock accidentally scores a knockout
Former UFC champ Ken Shamrock is nicknamed the "World's Most Dangerous Man," and he proved this title while in a mall in California. TMZ reports Shamrock reportedly hit a woman while trying to break up a fight.
While sitting at a mall in Modesto, Calif., he saw two women involved in a fight. He jumped in to try to separate them, when another person jumped on his back. He threw the back-jumper to the ground and threw a knockout punch, earning his first knockout since 2004.
It wasn't until she was out that Shamrock and the crowd yelled at him that he saw he had knocked out a woman. Though a report was taken, the police told TMZ they most likely won't press charges because Shamrock was acting in self-defense.
Shamrock's rep notes, "Outside the ring, Ken is not a violent man ... and was only trying to do the right thing."
Inside the ring, Shamrock's last fight was in November of 2010. He lost in a TKO due to leg injury. His last UFC fight was a 2006 loss to Tito Ortiz, an ending to their longstanding rivalry. Shamrock's career spanned 17 years and included wins in PRIDE, Pancrase and the UFC.

SpaceX's 'Grasshopper' vertical takeoff / vertical landing rocket takes its first small leap (video)
This test-firing may not match the flame of earlier demonstrations, but SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted out a brief eight-second video of another setup it's testing, the "Grasshopper" reusable vertical takeoff, vertical landing rocket. While the first hop would've been shamed in any interstellar dunk contest, future tests will range in height from a few hundred feet to two miles. The goal is to eventually create a reusable first stage for its Falcon 9 rocket, able to land safely instead of crashing into the sea and being damaged beyond repair. Hit the more coverage links for a few more details on the project as well as pictures of it at the Texas test site, or check after the break to see the video.

Strikeforce?s Three Stars: Ronda Rousey, Ronaldo Souza and Miesha Tate
After an exciting night of fights, Ronda Rousey still distinguished herself as the biggest star. Here are Cagewriter's picks for Saturday night's three stars. Tell us yours in the comments, on Facebook or on Twitter.
No. 1 star -- Ronda Rousey: What is there left to say about Rousey? She got Kaufman to the ground with ease and threw an armbar on in less than a minute. Before Saturday, Kaufman had only lost once. Rousey then turned her sights on Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos, telling the former featherweight champ to come down to bantamweight. If it's physically possible for Cyborg to do is a discussion for another day. For now, just enjoy every part of Rousey's blistering performance.
No. 2 star -- Ronaldo Souza: With "Jacare's" world-class grappling credentials, it's easy to forget he has power in his hands, too. He quickly reminded Derek Brunson and everyone watching with a 41-second knockout.
No. 3 star -- Miesha Tate: One of the best fights of the night was on the prelims, as Miesha Tate and Julie Kedzie put on a memorable fight for three rounds. Tate was on the wrong end of an armbar in her last fight, but must have learned something about the submission move as she used it to submit Kedzie in the third round.

Ovince Saint Preux knocks out a gassed TJ Cook (PHOTO)
Early in T.J. Cook's fight with Ovince Saint Preux, Cook withstood a bevy of OSP strikes. Though OSP looked close to finishing the fight, Cook worked his way back to his feet and made it through two rounds of fighting.
[Also: Ronda Rousey does it again, submits foe in 54 seconds with armbar]
But he looked exhausted at the start of the second round, and his lack of a gas tank cost him dearly. Saint Preux unloaded on Cook as the round started, and Cook fell to the mat. This time, referee Mike Beltran didn't have a hard decision to make. OSP was the winner 20 seconds into the third round.
Cook works on an oil well and doesn't train full time. Most fighters at the Strikeforce level do train twice a day, and the exhaustion from not training on the same level as his opponents didn't help Cook, whose record is now 12-5. For OSP, the win got him back on the right track after dropping a decision to Gegard Mousasi in December. His record is now also 12-5.

Criminals try to break into MMA gym with fighters inside
Want to hear about some of the dumbest criminals on the planet?
Yes, two people allegedly broke into an MMA gym, unaware that fighters were still inside. One tried to break inside, but ran away when he saw people still inside. According to KSAT.com, Karl Rogers and Adrian Sanchez were apprehended by San Antonio police.
The real stupidity is choosing a fight gym as a target in the first place. Gyms don't normally deal with a ton of cash, and any item of value would be large and difficult to move. Oh, and there may be trained fighters waiting for you.
